Award-winning author-illustrator Kari Percival will join our Playgroup this week and read her book, "How to Say Hello to a Worm: A First Guide to the Outside". We'll follow up with a hands-on activity. All are welcome, but this program is most appropriate for families with children ages 6 and under.
The young sister-writer duo, Emma & Belley Barrett, will share their book, "Emma and Belley-Sister Detectives". They'll read from their bilingual book, in English and Chinese, and explain their process in co-writing a mystery. This weekly Dungeons & Dragons game is run by and for autistic and similarly neurodivergent young adults (post-high school age). The group is currently full, but if you're interested in joining get in touch and we'll let you know when space is available.
Zumba is a form of aerobic dance exercise set to Latin American music and dance rhythms. It's like a party and a workout in one! It's open to adults and teens 15 and over. Drop-ins are welcome!
